Telkomsel Prepaid SIM Card
Telkomsel is the First Cellular network provider in Indonesia from since 1995. Indeed the Best with coverage in almost Every Indonesian archipelago. In Bali itself, Telkomsel is mostly used by local which is staying away from the town, Especially within the Remote area in the deep countryside part.
The Product
Telkomsel Product available in Post Paid and Prepaid. Their prepaid SIM Card itself has another 3 Product, All of them is in the same coverage and benefit. The difference is their package for long term usage. But for Tourist you can get one of them for weekly or monthly usage. The product is Simpati Card, AS card And Loop Card.
Telkomsel Bali Prepaid SIM Card Price
Price for the starter pack is only cost you IDR 5000-10.000 local currency. or you may get the bundle with data plan package included. The price is IDR. 60.000-70.000. This amount you already get 1,5 GB quota for internet and extra 2-3GB when you are in 4G Lte Network.

The more Quota of internet you need the more price you will need. However if only for internet browsing and Online Map for 1-2 Weeks should be enough. In Case you need more Quota, You can buy or top up for extra.

XL Prepaid SIM Card in Bali
XL Sim Card is also the other card you can buy in Bali for internet Data plan. This provider also work all around the area in Bali. This card price is the same as Telkomsel product but it comes with more quota.
This is mostly used by local which is staying near the town as it has similar speed and coverage with lower price for monthly package. It work good in the area of main tourist area like Canggu, Ubud, Kuta, Seminyak etc (I have tested it and hos no problem)
To Buy this you cant get it at Airport, But you can easily buy at the local SIM card shop. It cost you only IDR. 60.000 with activation and 3,5GB internet quota.
USEFUL TIPS
Download Bali Maps on Google map when you cruising Bali by renting a scooter in Bali. To avoid you getting lost in cast you missed the Network coverage.
Buy a small credit (Pulsa) include on your SIM card, In case you want to make local calling for emergency purpose. The amount of 10.000 to 20.000 is enough.
